Thoughts:
How is the invention and mass production of written language directly tied to the creation of new ideas, revised ideas, changes in religious practices and laws labeled as divine intervention, and proliferation of religion?
What is the relation or correlation between written governmental law and religious laws and practices?
Are there really other entities or beings on this planet? It is an uncomfortable topic for me to delve into, but it is something that must be researched to really understand human constructs vs. potential reality/facts.
If everything is changing so rapidly, faster than the industrial revolution, as if it were meant to occur, as if there should be some sort of stop or end wouldn’t there be a creator of this beginning and end, just like a video game or an author? In the greater scheme of things, everything is occurring so quickly - if you think about it, a thousand years isn’t a long time. So something that occurred over a thousand or two or even five thousand years ago, didn’t happen so long ago in terms of how young we are as a human race.
Are we truly entering a dark period, where we lose our various facets of critical thinking, choice making, and even the will or desire to continue, if artificial intelligence can do whatever we do ten times better? Artisans, musicians, and artists alike argue that artificial intelligence can not do what humans do, but isn’t AI based off of human cognition, and the possibilities humans could have, if they had the time and mental capacity to think and create that fast? It makes you wonder, are we all going to lament the day we realize we are useless, then? If our will to live is based off of our ability to think, create, and build, what will our then-desires be, if everything is done for us and we recognize that artificial intelligence does it better. Will we just not care and be zombies who just live and breathe? The human population will most certainly decreased exponentially, since the world will no longer need millions, perhaps, billions of people, considering technology will take over jobs humans used to be forced to do or had to do.
Anyway, my thoughts are quite messy right now. Time to rest and revisit when I have more understanding in my back pocket.
